Spring Break

Yes, I have hit the 1/2 way mark in my Spring Break. 
I think the real work starts today. :-) 
I am cleaning and organizing my creative work area. 
I need to clear out some items that have been lingering around way too long. 
I had planned on doing this project on Christmas break and somehow it snuck into the New Year with me.  So today I take action, stop putting it off and get it done!

1000 Words a Day

I am taking the Challenge. 
I need a kick in the tush to jump start my next book in The Queen's Blood Vendetta series.
I have been working so hard to get this first book ready from format, cover art, etc., I have not been multi-tasking well. 
So, I will ink that on my daily schedule. 
Watch my meter on the side bar and see how I'm progressing.

Glimmer of Hope!!

Yes, that's right!!! 
A glimmer of hope showed up in my trees today. 
I went outside to see my husband off for the day and there they were. 
My brown crackly trees have green blooms on them!! 

I was shocked!! 

I just laughed and my husband said to me, "Aren't you happy I didn't cut these dead trees down?" 

Uh, Yeah!! 

Life begins anew. 

Isn't it amazing how some of the smallest things can bring you joy. 

I love it!!  What a way to start the new week off.
